Lindy and Brett's wedding

John and I journeyed back to Texas last month, and for a very good reason - a wedding!  Not the royal one (although it happened to be the same day), but even better.  Our niece Lindy was getting married!  We were so excited to be there for her special day.

The pre-ceremony photo shoot was in progress when we arrived:

A lovely gathering of cousins:

Such a creative cake - Brett is obviously a baseball fan:

Someone donated this amazing sculpture that captures the spirit of Lindy playing the violin:

John's parents walking into the church as the ceremony got underway:

Brett with his mother - cute thumbs up!

Our nephew David's adorable sons JD and Ayden as ushers, with Jerri Lind (John's sister/Lindy's mom) and the woman doing all the excellent coordination:

The cute kid in the pew in front of us was learning how to take pictures and doing a fine job:

It was a beautiful setting:

And a lovely bride - more than one of us were crying:

What a perfect opportunity for a Beard family photo - I'm honored to be a part of this wonderful family (and welcome Brett!):

Doing a fine job with the cake cutting:

There was eating and dancing and music and celebration - a wonderful afternoon!

Congratulations Lindy and Brett, may you have many happy years ahead of you!
