Moab - day 5

Today we took our inflatable "Sunny" boat and a rental Duckie on the Colorado River - lots of laughter and fun! It was a really nice paddle/float, we had some cloud cover for once, and the scenery was awesome. These were taken with the GoPro camera, so they aren't quite as clear, but better than nothing.





We also shot a bit of video - here are some short clips that I saved at a lower quality to reduce the file size. In some order, they are:

* My perspective coming down a rapid with the GoPro in my teeth

Moab - day 4

Yesterday was another fabulous day in Moab with Kathy and Bob. We went out to Fisher Towers and made a loop up near the La Sal Mountains.

We stopped in at Red Cliffs Ranch, very pretty location, and they have a film museum (lots of films and commercials have been made in this area):

Moab - day 3

We spent the day at Arches NP, with a highlight "Fiery Furnaces Tour" in the morning - it was awesome! I highly recommend it (reservations needed).


Our ranger, Geology Joel, was so enthusiastic, entertaining, and enlightening - made us laugh for 3 hours:
